Sometimes, your budget gets too tight and you start to feel the fear. How am I going to pay for this and what will I eat tomorrow? We learn to not take these things for granted and we find ways to stretch out all the resources that we have. When push comes to shove and we find ourselves falling, we realize that it’s time to contact a food bank. This step is insulting to our pride but our courage kicks in. There’s no other place to go, we know, we’ve been there. Luckily, there are a ton of generous people that are willing to help out. Don’t be scared to contact your local food bank. You might be feeling hopeless as you cross the threshold but once you meet the person who’s going to help you out and you get to talking with them a bit, you will soon realize that the numbers are higher than you think. You’re not the only one.
Being from Canada, we thought the best place to give a hand was the Canadian food bank called Food Banks Canada. Food Banks Canada is the mother chapter of all the local food banks in our provinces and territories. Food Banks Canada supplies 500 food banks in 10 different provincial locations. This organization is also a team of volunteers that work hard to raise awareness of the cause. Search the Food Banks Canada website to read their blog, learn shocking facts, and to see all the ways that Canadians have been helped because of their influencing policy. The Food Banks Canada website is also available in French. When we needed someone to catch us, we found help with our local Canadian food bank and they saved us. That’s why we’ve decided to help ourselves.
If you’ve saved money with our free trials and our cheap deals, you might want to give back a few of those saved dollars to this important cause. We don’t need things, but we do need to eat. The button below will lead you towards the Food Banks Canada website and we would like you to know that we don’t receive any part of these donations. Every dollar given goes directly to the Canadian food banks. We hope that we’ve been able to help you save, and lighten the air around you. Thank you for doing what you can and even if you can’t donate, for any reason, can you please share this post so that others can learn just how important food banks really are. Have a blessed day and a full belly tomorrow.
